I am a leader, developer, writer, backpacker and minimalist living in Salt Lake City, UT. I was raised in the south where I met my beautiful wife, Joanna, in middle school where we started dating. Close to twenty years and four beautiful kids later, we’re enjoying our rhythm in life.

I have spent the past decade in the technical and technical leadership space. Along the way I’ve worked for startups and corporate companies alike, currently as a VP Engineering/Product for a digital consultancy called RAIN, where I’ve lead large scale projects for Amazon, Starbucks, Microsoft and other companies you’ve probably heard of. Previously Senior Director at a company called Edge, a global leader in the E-Commerce analytics space. I’ve had the privilege of leading development teams with these companies, and have helped craft business and technical strategy with some of the largest brands globally. I enjoy all of the strategic, technical and human challenges that come with building a world class team of engineers. I’ve had articles featured in a few online tech blogs and digital media sites. I spend whatever time is left on my own open source, enterprise software or other projects and writing and dreaming about the future.
